Information

In August 2010 over 200 people passed through the Quebec Climate Action Camp in Dunham, QC. The camp was erected to strengthen growing resistance to the construction of a pumping station, part of the Enbridge Trailbreaker project, in the community.  This pipeline would move tar sands bitumen from Alberta, through Ontario, Quebec and the Northeastern United States to Portland, Maine, destined for tankers headed to the Gulf Coast of Texas.

At the end of the camp, activists and community members launched the next step in the campaign against dirty oil’s eastward expansion: the Pledge of Resistance. We will continue creating a broad network of community members and supporters to educate about the dangers of the Trailbreaker project and take action to stop it.

Sign the pledge and take action today.

I see no place to sign the pledge, and can’t find it via google search. Are you certain there’s a place online to sign it?
